Biological Plant-based Vole Control
Repellent Crops and Strips for Practical On-Farm Use
Agroforestry Design for Drought, Wind and Biodiversity
We designed a tree integration layout that fits crop rotations and machinery routes rather than disrupting them — building long-term climate resilience without losing operational control.
Reduced Tillage Transition in Organic Arable Systems
We designed a phased transition matched to the farm's real conditions — so reducing tillage didn't mean taking on all-or-nothing risk.
Introducing Protein Crops with Targeted Soil Corrections
Soil constraints were making diversification feel risky. We turned the unknowns into a concrete action plan, giving the farm the confidence to move forward.
Erosion Risk Reduction with Year-Round Soil Cover
We mapped the highest-risk windows and redesigned cover cropping and tillage to keep soil protected year-round — fewer emergencies, and topsoil that stays where it belongs.
Crop Rotation Redesign for Weed Pressure and Stable Yields
We rebuilt the rotation around clear functions and paired it with a timed mechanical weed-control protocol. The farm went from reactive decisions to a plan they could actually run.
Whole-Farm Soil Organic Matter Strategy (Compost + Rotation)
From soil baseline to season-by-season plan — we helped this farm build a repeatable system for improving organic matter across all fields, not just pilot plots.

FRAMEwork / Recodo
Launching the first Czech Farmer Cluster for farmland biodiversity

AgriMetrix / Regionalwert
Adapting a sustainability & ecosystem services valuation tool for Czechia and Slovakia

The World of Organic Agriculture (FiBL–IFOAM)

Farmářská škola
Members of the Czech Organics team, including Jan Trávníček and Adam Brezáni, are actively involved in education and training. They teach at the Farmářská škola (Farmer School), where they work with future farmers and advisors on topics such as soil health, organic systems, climate resilience, and farm management.

Education & Capacity Building (Erasmus+)
We are involved in several European education and innovation projects focused on climate-resilient farming, advisory systems, and nature-based solutions. These projects combine applied research, training, Living Labs, and demonstration farms to support long-term transformation of agricultural systems.

ECO-READY: Living Lab PROBIO
Proving organic works in Czech conditions (and scaling it)

Sequestration Project
This project aims to develop region-specific, practical models for long-term carbon sequestration in agricultural soils in the Czech Republic.
